World Cancer Day 2021
World Cancer Day is an annual event on, 4th of February 2021 to raise awareness on cancer. It aims to inform the general public on how cancer is detected and how it can be prevented and treated. This can decrease death rates caused by cancer and an opportunity to unite on this cause. A free webinar for the general public was co-organised by Health Professionals of Yemen in collaboration with The Farah Saeed Trust on World Cancer Day. It provided information on:
- What is cancer?
- What impact does coronavirus have on cancer?
- How are blood cancers and other types of cancer detected?
- How is cancer treated?
